Group of the richest countries in the world issued a pandemic statement last week
The G20 leaders spoke out publicly about the progress of the new coronavirus pandemic and pledged to continue working to facilitate international trade.
According to the statement by the leaders of the 20 largest economies in the world, the idea is “to coordinate responses in order to avoid unnecessary interference in traffic and international trade”.
“We reiterate our goal to create a trade and investment environment that is free, fair, non-discriminatory, transparent, predictable and stable, and to keep our markets open,” says the statement by the G20 leaders.
Impacts of the pandemic
In the declaration, the G20 says that tackling the pandemic and its interconnected impacts in the areas of health, social and economic is an absolute priority for the group. & nbsp;
“The COVID-19 unprecedented pandemic is a powerful reminder of our interconnectivity and vulnerability. The virus does not respect borders.
